PHD from Shanghai Jiaotong University with a major on Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering, and has an academic rank of Research Fellow of Naval Architect;
From 1997 to 2006, he worked in Marine Research & Design Institute of China (MARIC) as naval architect, deputy director of Merchant Ship Section, as well as director of R&D Department;
Established an engineering company with partners in 2007, Shanghai GreenSeas Marine Technology Co. Ltd., and later joined the Sinopacific Shipbuilding Group;
Worked as CTO in Sinopacific Shipbuilding Group and Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co. from 2011/2012 to 2015。
